E-mail based funding alerts offer the benefit of obtaining funding information in a timely manner. ORSP has identified the list of websites below and encourages the Principal Investigator to take an active role in identifying funding sources.

National Science Foundation Update

Formerly MyNSF, the National Science Foundation Update is a new e-mail alert service. Subscription options for all of the document types that were available in MyNSF are still available but also allows you to subscribe to new content categories, such as Images and Videos, Events, and Upcoming Due Dates for Funding Opportunities. If you were a MyNSF subscriber, the subscription you set up in MyNSF ha automatically been transferred to National Science Foundation Update.

Self Registration Instructions:

Click on "create a profile", find your institution in the list and click on it, enter your information into the data fields required. Click on submit. On the full profile page enter the data you wish to include and answer the questions at the bottom of the page regarding e-mail notices. Be sure to click on "summary" in the last question to receive only summarized announcements instead of the full text.

CRISP

CRISP (Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects) is a searchable database of federally funded biomedical research projects conducted at universities, hospitals, and other research institutions.Users, including the public, can use the CRISP interface to search for scientific concepts, emerging trends and techniques, or identify specific projects and/or investigators.

FundSource - The Decade of Behavior 2000-2010

FundSource is a tool designed to help behavioral and social scientists find research funding. It has been designed to be specific to behavioral and social science research, freely available with no subscription costs, and responsive to your needs and feedback.
